Quincy Childs is a passionate advocate for deep decarbonization and CO₂ removal, with expertise in policy design, high-quality project development, strategic partnerships, and credible carbon markets. As Sourcing and Partnership Manager at Climeworks, she focuses on expanding the Climeworks Solutions business by securing diverse CDR supply partnerships to strengthen the organization’s portfolio. Quincy also collaborates with Carbon Gap on Transatlantic Partnerships, advancing public-private carbon removal initiatives across Europe and beyond. Previously, she led CDR policy at Clean Air Task Force, supporting U.S. and European efforts through policy development and technical advisory to CDR suppliers. In 2022, she served as a Science & Technology Policy Fellow at the U.S. Department of Energy, where she supported FECM in driving strategic engagement and regulatory development for CDR at both domestic and international levels. She holds an MSc in Environmental Governance from the University of Oxford, where her research—supervised by Oxford Net Zero and InSIS—focused on scaling permanent carbon removal through effective policy design.
