Chemical engineer by training, entrepreneur, and food & gymnastics enthusiast. I love to dance, bike, hike, eat, and live a big and purposeful life. I've always been drawn toward leadership roles and feel the most alive and passionate when I'm able to use my skills in service of others. I'm one of two founders of TerraFixing, a startup that cleans the atmosphere from humanity's legacy CO2 emissions; my life's mission is to reverse climate change. I have a gritty and outgoing personality and I'm here to keep growing and developing my skills to build a team of strong and passionate leaders.

In the words of Marcus Aurelius, ‘That which is not good for the beehive cannot be good for the bees.’ This principle guides my approach as a sustainability-focused professional, where I believe that planet-friendly practices benefit us all. I am currently the Operations and Sustainability Manager at Biocare Projects, a global pioneer in biochar production and Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR). At Biocare, we merge nature with advanced engineering to secure permanent carbon storage, mitigate climate change, and transform biomass waste into biochar, thereby delivering substantial environmental benefits. My professional path began with a Civil Engineering degree, which steered me towards a sustainability-focused career spanning over a decade. My initial projects involved assisting the construction industry in achieving LEED accreditation through the US Green Building Council. I then ventured into launching and managing a steel recycling and manufacturing business in Mexico, where I immersed myself in sustainable industrial practices. More recently, I completed an MBA at AGSM@UNSW Sydney, with a focus on responsible management practices. While there, I also served as the Director of Sustainability and Social Impact in the MBA Student Association, leading environmental initiatives and social responsibility projects, further honing my skills in strategic sustainability leadership. At Biocare, I work closely with a diverse team to design, engineer, and implement biochar projects worldwide. Let’s connect and discuss how we can collaborate to foster a more sustainable future!
